New Generation Portable Gaming

The Japanese giant Sony announced that they will soon release a new portable gaming console, Next Generation Portable ( NGP ) compatible with 3G networks, and it is going to compete with the Nintendo 3DS console, that is going to be released in the first part of this year.

According to the information received by the Sony Representatives during a press conference that took place in Tokyo, the new gaming console will provide a series of technical innovations.

Besides the fact that it will be compatible with 3G networks, which will allow users to download games and applications very fast, it will also have a 5 inch touchscreen.

Further more, the console will incorporate a GPS tracking system, a motion sensor, as well as a control touch panel, which will allow gamers to control specific actions along with the joystick navigational buttons.

Just like Nintendo, who is getting ready to release the 3DS gaming console, with two screens, Sony has to make unique innovations to compete with state of the art mobile phones like the iPhone.
